Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to Public and Private sector clients and lead end-to-end procurement services on major projects.
  • •Lead and develop a team to achieve successful outcomes for clients and manage client relationships and related outputs.
  • •Lead and support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team’s propositions and bid/proposal activities.
  • •Oversee development of procurement services and documentation for major programmes and transformation initiatives.
  • •Travel nationally and internationally to service key commissions and support delivery of team and business targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience leading strategic major procurement projects or programmes for public and private sector clients.
  • •Strong background in tender preparation, development and management including negotiation.
  • •Experience developing and using various forms of contracts with focus on NEC and JCT.
  • •Cross-sector public procurement background; MCIPs accreditation desirable.
  • •Security clearance (SC) – currently valid or could be reinstated)
