Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform fieldwork in support of project staff under supervision from a Crew Chief, Field Director, and/or Principal Investigator.
  • •Collect and maintain scientific data records, including environmental sampling and site operations/maintenance/inspections.
  • •Assist with calculations, set up and operate equipment, and inspect equipment/installations for specification compliance.
  • •Collect and enter data and apply technical principles and theories under supervision.
  • •Maintain proper project documentation and support technical data activities as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •2 years of relevant experience in archaeological fieldwork (or demonstrated equivalency via experience and/or education).
  • •Valid US Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment driving record verification.
  • •US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Ability to travel overnight for field work sessions as needed.
