Job Summary

Serve as a technical advisor in Cisco’s Solutions Engineering team, delivering expert pre-sales support for complex Cisco solutions. Lead technical engagements with IT and business decision-makers, design and present solutions, and build rapid demos/Proof of Concepts to validate capabilities. Collaborate closely with account teams and manage virtual support efforts to drive customer outcomes, while providing market intelligence and leveraging AI tools to streamline solution design and sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical engagements with IT decision-makers and Lines of Business to translate business needs into technical requirements.
•Design and present solutions based on customer requirements using knowledge of Cisco’s portfolio to drive cross-selling and competitive displacement.
•Build and execute rapid demos and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate product capabilities and feasibility.
•Act as the primary technical sales influencer by managing virtual support teams and collaborating with account teams for customer outcomes.
•Provide market intelligence feedback to business entities and sales teams on strategic needs, competitive tactics, and emerging opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Reside and be authorized to work in South Africa or Kenya.
•Proven experience in pre-sales technical support for complex IT solutions.
•Strong understanding and practical experience with networking and data center technologies.
•Ability to assess customer needs and design scalable technical solutions.
•Excellent English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for high-level customer and partner engagement.
