Job Summary

Join the Retail Personal Banker I development program, completing onboarding rotations in operations and sales/service before a final certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling. Proactively reach out using CAMP and approved marketing tools, manage referrals with mortgage and business partners, support CSRs on sales processes, and help meet production and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions aligned to the company value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Drive cross-selling and outside sales activities, including membership presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Partner with business teams (mortgage, small business, commercial, and investment) to refer customers and work toward production, customer experience, and revenue growth goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to be comfortable with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Must obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
