Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the delivery of transport and spatial planning projects, ensuring technical excellence, policy compliance and alignment with client objectives.
  • •Engage with wider disciplines, clients and stakeholders to deliver technically sound project outcomes.
  • •Deliver transport modelling projects, tasks and studies.
  • •Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, supporting technical capability building within the Transport & Mobility Planning team.
  • •Commercial management of projects and tasks, ensuring programmes and budgets are achieved.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in transport, development or spatial planning.
  • •Understanding of the UK planning system, including national/local policy and transport assessment requirements.
  • •Ability to lead small projects and manage competing priorities while meeting commercial requirements.
  • •Experience contributing to multi-tier modelling projects including local junction, microsimulation and strategic modelling.
  • •Experience of client and stakeholder engagement and presenting information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
