Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive technical and consumption strategy for the most complex customer engagements to influence platform adoption and revenue growth.
  • •Own senior-level technical relationships as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy.
  • •Lead complex architecture engagements spanning multi-workload platforms, enterprise migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale.
  • •Operate as an expert on the Databricks Platform with a declared archetype, mentoring others and driving horizontal impact.
  • •Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions and mentor junior solutions architects (L3–L5).

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, technical pre-sales leadership, or a senior customer-facing technical role.
  • •Expert-level coding proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally Spark/PySpark), including completing a live coding assessment.
  • •Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, including distributed systems, streaming/real-time, lakehouse patterns, and data governance.
  • •Expert-level knowledge of the Databricks Platform (or equivalent depth in competing platforms with rapid learning ability).
  • •Professional working proficiency in German; bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience).
