Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver ecological impact assessment and offsetting for projects and support internal clients delivering ecological requirements within tenders and projects.
  • •Plan, conduct, and manage ecology surveys (independently or with a team of ecologists), analyze results, and evaluate impacts.
  • •Design and implement mitigation strategies, producing impact assessment documentation and technical reports.
  • •Provide risk-based strategic advice and excellent client service through high-quality technical reporting.
  • •Support the team’s strategic growth, technical excellence, and innovation, including efficiencies and digital solutions; assist with project management for technical and financial performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated technical knowledge in flora, fauna, and ecological communities in Queensland (6+ years), with NSW or NT experience advantageous.
  • •Ability to lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing team across field and office-based work.
  • •Experience in environmental approval processes and impact assessment reporting.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
  • •Proficiency with GIS tools such as ESRI ArcGIS Pro; willing to undertake fieldwork across Queensland with a valid Class C driver’s license and 4WD experience.
