Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare growing houses for bird placement by installing partitions, setting up feed systems, and transferring birds to assigned pens.
  • •Provide daily flock care, including calculating and recording feed amounts, monitoring health, administering and recording medications via the water system, and handling mortality per animal welfare policy.
  • •Maintain flock environment by flushing water lines, maintaining bedding, clearing dust from equipment, and verifying feed/water/environmental control systems.
  • •Collect data on bird growth and development by analyzing fleshing, weighing samples, collecting lab samples, and assisting with euthanasia for birds designated by the FCR out list as instructed.
  • •Follow biosecurity and safety requirements, including facility hygiene, PPE use, and reporting issues while performing additional assigned duties as needed.

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
