Job Summary

Lead privacy compliance work by maintaining and improving the UK data protection framework and driving consistent implementation of the Privacy Compliance Framework. Provide practical data protection guidance to UK Business Units and Shared Services, manage the register of external data processors, and support privacy training and up-to-date privacy notices, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including Privacy Champions, UK DPO, and global Privacy/Security teams) and advise on initiatives involving data protection, including Privacy Impact Assessments.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead delivery and consistent implementation of the Privacy Compliance Framework as a project owner.
•Maintain and improve the UK data protection framework while supporting colleagues across the organisation.
•Provide practical data protection guidance and operational support to UK Business Units and Shared Services.
•Maintain and oversee the register of external data processors operating on behalf of Aon UK.
•Support privacy training and keep privacy notices, policies, and procedures clear, accurate, and aligned with regulations.

Key Requirements

•Experience in a Data Protection, Information Security, or compliance-related role with a solid grasp of GDPR and privacy frameworks.
•Proven project management skills to lead initiatives and deliver outcomes across multiple collaborators.
•Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, practical solutions for the business.
•Strong communication and collaborator management skills, with proficiency in English.
•High organisation and critical thinking with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
