Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise and coordinate WHO engagement with national and sub-national authorities, international partners, and European Union authorities on Ukraine’s health-sector EU integration.
  • •Support implementation of key agreements and strategies, with a focus on strengthening governance of the EU integration process and coordinating EU member state support.
  • •Coordinate technical assistance and donor engagement aligned with EU financing mechanisms and national priority and coordination architecture.
  • •Track and report normative developments relevant to health governance and EU integration, including legislation and guidance affecting EU acquis and accession chapters.
  • •Prepare briefing packages and technical/policy inputs for bilateral and multilateral meetings, field trips, missions, and progress reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, political sciences, public administration, legal affairs, or a related field.
  • •At least 2 years of experience coordinating activities with partners, stakeholders, and donors in public health, health systems, or international development.
  • •Demonstrated ability working with government officials, stakeholders, donors, and civil society on public health matters.
  • •Strong analytical skills, including familiarity with health system analysis and policy coordination.
  • •Expert knowledge of English and expert knowledge of Ukrainian.
