Lead privacy and AI governance for a global fintech leader, advising product, engineering, legal, risk and compliance on GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, FCRA, and Colorado/EU AI laws; partner with AI Center of Excellence to approve AI use cases; build scalable governance, draft AI data agreements, and guide responsible AI adoption across products, operations and client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise stakeholders on AI, data, and privacy laws and related regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
•Partner with the AI Center of Excellence to review and approve AI, generative AI, and agentic AI use cases, including risk categorization and safeguards
•Assess compliance posture and help build scalable governance processes, documentation standards, monitoring approaches, and reporting
•Draft, review, and negotiate data privacy addenda with clients and vendors, including AI-related provisions
•Participate in client meetings and vendor negotiations on privacy, data, AI, and governance matters

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 244,800 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience practicing law with substantial focus on privacy, data protection, AI governance, technology transactions, or related regulatory counseling
•Experience advising on global privacy laws and frameworks, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, FCRA, Colorado AI Act, EU AI Act or similar regulations
•Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements involving data use, licensing, technology services, vendor management, or AI and privacy-related terms
•Experience supporting banks, fintechs, card networks, payments companies, or equivalent clients in regulated environments
•Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction in good standing or equivalent
