Job Summary

Establish and execute KeyBank’s community engagement strategy to uphold Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance and regulatory compliance. Build partnerships with community, charitable, and nonprofit organizations to support CRA-eligible lending, investment, and financial education while mitigating reputational risk. Serve as an external advocate and liaison, monitor CRA outcomes with business lines, coordinate with CRA Data Analytics/ESG/Sustainability and the KeyBank Foundation, and support communications, DEI initiatives, and volunteerism.

•Monitor CRA performance and collaborate with business lines to improve outcomes.
•Build partnerships to support CRA-eligible lending, investment, and financial education while mitigating reputational risk.
•Serve as KeyBank’s external-facing advocate and liaison in the community, including participation in public forums and community panels.
•Coordinate CRA-related efforts with CRA Data Analytics, ESG, Sustainability teams, and the KeyBank Foundation; support marketing/communications and local DEI/sponsorship/volunteer initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 71,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or community development (required).
•Strong written and verbal communication.
•Ability to build and maintain relationships with community-based, charitable, and nonprofit organizations.
•Deep understanding of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Community Benefits Plans (CBP), and related compliance frameworks.
•Ability to develop and implement local engagement strategies aligned with corporate goals.
