Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform and methodically develop ALM analyses for German life/health units and derive recommendations for strategic asset allocation (SAA).
  • •Translate SAA into capital market indices as benchmarks for tactical asset allocation.
  • •Conceptualize, develop, and take professional responsibility for asset and investment strategy modules within the German life/health cashflow model, including quality assurance.
  • •Drive the global exchange of knowledge and best practices, contributing ideas and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
  • •Collaborate with risk and actuarial functions and IT providers on complex topics, represent results to stakeholders, and advise management on SAA and investment strategy decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in finance/math, economics, computer science, physics, or another quantitative field.
  • •4+ years of professional experience in a relevant area such as actuarial science, ALM, or risk management (ideally within an insurance company).
  • •Strong knowledge of capital market instruments, finance, financial modeling, and accounting, with interest in financial markets and capital investments.
  • •IT and programming skills (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • •Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
