Job Summary

Inspect road and bridge construction work in Sanford/Aberdeen, NC by examining and interpreting plans, schedules, and quantities. Key Responsibilities

•Examine and interpret construction plans, schedules, and quantities.
•Support senior project inspectors with construction inspection, surveying, and material sampling/testing.

•Perform standardized and non-standardized tests and compile, analyze, compute, edit, and process field data.
•Exercise responsible, ethical decision-making and adhere to company Code of Conduct and related policies.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma.
•0-2 years of road and bridge construction inspection and testing experience (Engineering Interns may be eligible without experience).
•Ability to attain NCDOT certifications within 90 days, including Concrete Field Technician and other listed roadway, density, erosion/sediment, and sampling certifications.
•Ability to keep accurate records, compute field data, and read/interpret construction plans.
•Ability to perform physical inspection activities and demonstrate safety-focused, professional communication; basic computer proficiency required.
