Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years of experience in crop insurance and claims adjusting (Crop Field Adjuster II level) or 4+ years in agriculture/crop insurance (Crop Claims Specialist level).
  • •Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification must be obtained within 180 days of hire date.
  • •Reliable personal transportation with travel within the assigned territory (and travel outside assigned areas to assist with workload).
  • •RCIS Crop Adjuster physical requirements: walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather.
  • •Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization; intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
