Job Summary

Design and develop Ethernet, PCIe, and FlexE PHY low-level drivers and related firmware, including L1 switch protocol development. Own code reviews, bug fixes, testing (including unit-level and test plan review), and API definition work driven by customer requirements. Add automation to the development flow, maintain SDK and release branches, and act as a technical liaison between chip development and application/customer teams while supporting complex system debugging.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics (Master’s degree a plus).
•5 years of relevant experience in embedded/device driver/protocol software design, development, and testing.
•Strong C/C++ coding and debugging experience, with static code analysis for high-quality code.
•Working knowledge of PCIe retimer and switches, and firmware development topics like RX equalization, DFE/FFE adaptation, and eye monitoring of SerDes IPs.
•Working experience with Ethernet MAC and physical layer/IEEE 802.3, plus knowledge of bus protocols (MDIO, I2C) and Linux/VxWorks (or equivalent OS).
