Key Responsibilities

  • •Support commissioning and start-up activities on a major EPCM project for a key client.
  • •Work with engineers and vendors to align handover and commissioning activities.
  • •Participate in workshops and attend P&ID hazard and model reviews; review cause and effect diagrams and spare parts orders.
  • •Develop and submit commissioning record (closeout) documentation throughout the project, including pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
  • •Supervise site commissioning activities as appropriate (P&ID checking/walk-down/punching, mechanical completion, pre-/cold-/hot commissioning), troubleshoot issues, and participate in pre-start-up safety reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Typically 7+ years of engineering experience if degree qualified, or 10+ years relevant practical experience if trade discipline qualified.
  • •Appropriate commissioning experience in the relevant industry sector.
  • •Proven experience interpreting discipline documentation and reviewing commissioning records/procedures.
  • •Good computer literacy and ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan.
