Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and oversee feasibility studies, outline and detailed design, and construction support for Mechanical elements of water projects
  • •Act as Lead Verifier for mechanical design drawings and specifications (WIMES Data Sheets, P&IDs, equipment schedules)
  • •Mentor and lead a Mechanical Engineering team across Water Treatment and Infrastructure projects
  • •Develop Scopes, Proposals, Estimates and Programmes for Mechanical engineering projects
  • •Deliver the Mechanical scope to programme and budget, acting as Mechanical Lead on complex WwTW/WTW projects and supporting the Project Manager

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • •Chartered Engineer with a recognized institution (e.g., IMechE)
  • •Demonstrated ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications and calculations
  • •Hands-on experience delivering water and wastewater engineering projects
  • •Ability to lead and mentor a Mechanical Engineering team and manage scopes, proposals and programmes
