Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a ready-mix concrete mixer truck to deliver and unload concrete to job sites safely and efficiently per dispatch instructions.
  • •Comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMSCA safe-operating practices and use supplied PPE as directed.
  • •Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area, including rinsing the drum before and after deliveries.
  • •Communicate with the dispatcher/plant supervisor, check delivery tickets for special instructions, and complete required paperwork.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, collect and record customer payments, and support loading tasks including climbing ladders and handling mixer chutes safely.

Key Requirements

  • •Must possess a valid Class B CDL (or pass training to obtain CDL licensure).
  • •Must acquire and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
  • •High school diploma preferred or equivalent, or at least one year of related experience or training (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspond.
  • •Ability to meet physical requirements including frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and climbing/working around equipment.
