Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, analyze, and disposition repairs for structural non-conformances to restore A220 design integrity across sub-assembly, final line, and preflight areas.
  • •Rapidly design repairs using equivalent strength/stiffness of surrounding structure in a production schedule-driven environment.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings and specifications and provide guidance to Methods and Production employees.
  • •Adhere to A220 Material Review Board (MRB) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
  • •Lead internal audits aligned with ISO standards, Transport Canada, NADCAP, and six sigma, and maintain current aircraft structure knowledge to recommend innovations.

Key Requirements

  • •University or college degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • •Minimum five (5) years of experience in Material Review Board (MRB) or airframe design in aerospace (important asset).
  • •In-depth knowledge of aircraft structures and technical requirements for system installation.
  • •High sense of commitment and willingness to take responsibility and act independently in a high-pressure ramp-up production environment.
  • •Practical working experience using V5.
