Lead and deliver UK public health building services design at Senior, Principal or Associate level for mission-critical facilities (aviation, healthcare and defence) in Bristol/Cardiff. Champion sustainability, net zero, digital design and modern methods of construction; mentor junior engineers; manage technical, cost and programme elements; represent clients to WSP and maintain UK vetting (SC) as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the delivery of UK public health building services design on high-profile projects, ensuring quality and timeliness across all stages.
•Mentor and manage junior engineers to support project execution and knowledge transfer.
•Apply technical judgment from feasibility through detailed design and construction support, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
•Represent the firm to clients, translating engineering needs into effective solutions that meet client objectives.
•Oversee technical, cost and programme elements of project delivery, and liaise with stakeholders to maintain project alignment.

Key Requirements

•Working knowledge of UK public health building services design at Senior, Principal or Associate level.
•Ability to work as part of a team and manage junior engineers toward project delivery.
•Apply technical judgment across feasibility studies, concept, scheme and detailed design, and construction support phases.
•Represent WSP to clients and deliver engineering solutions tailored to client needs.
•Ability to manage technical, cost and programme elements of project delivery and obtain UK vetting at SC level.
