Job Summary

Lead production operations at a food manufacturing plant by supervising and coordinating production associates responsible for kitting, processing, packaging, testing, and grading. Ensure materials and consumables are available to deliver the production plan on time, resolve line issues to improve productivity, and maintain sanitation across shifts. Drive food safety and quality compliance through HACCP/GMP, OH&S adherence, and consistent use of PPE while reporting safety and workplace hazards.

Key Responsibilities

•Report to the Production Supervisor and help build the production team and culture.
•Execute production processes and directives from production, manufacturing, and sanitation teams while ensuring consistent SOP compliance.
•Supervise, coordinate, and schedule production associates; communicate goals and targets and assess performance to daily targets.
•Monitor and improve the production plan delivery, resolve work problems, and communicate plan changes with stakeholders.
•Ensure production and equipment are cleaned and sanitized daily, support HACCP/GMP implementation, and maintain food safety and quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 23.25 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience in food processing, manufacturing, or service.
•1-3 years of experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or service industry.
•Experience managing 30+ hourly employees with strong leadership and communication.
•Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for prolonged periods.
•Basic Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite skills, with ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
