Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer the plant environmental program in alignment with corporate environmental policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • •Ensure compliance with environmental permits covering air, water, and waste; maintain a compliance task list and monitoring system with deadlines.
  • •Evaluate environmental performance, conduct audits, identify corrective actions, and implement follow-up assessments.
  • •Coordinate and supervise stack testing activities, review/approve stack testing reports, and complete administer reporting/renewals.
  • •Serve as the local contact with regulatory and community stakeholders; assist regulatory agencies and accompany inspectors during inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4-year/Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, engineering, natural sciences, law, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in the environmental field, cement, mining, or related industry (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental laws and regulations.
  • •Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills.
  • •Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office products, and to build and lead a team.
