Job Summary

Manage interface activities for rail projects in alignment with overall project planning and logistics. Lead development and implementation of logistics, construction integration, and security strategies across pre-construction and delivery, while coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders. Support establishment of the Development and Delivery function, develop and maintain an interface strategy, review client interface agreements, and ensure HSSEQ, scope, schedule, and budget are met. Provide technical guidance and drive cross-discipline integration.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage all interface activities aligned to the project planning and logistics framework across pre-construction and delivery phases.
•Support development of a project-wide interface strategy across the full lifecycle, defining interactions between contracts, systems, and stakeholders.
•Review and update the client Interface Agreement to align with the interface strategy and delivery objectives.
•Coordinate interfaces with external stakeholders, establish management structures for interfaces across work packages, and maintain strong stakeholder communication to meet delivery targets.
•Oversee site security arrangements where required (including personnel and systems such as CCTV) and ensure activities are delivered in line with HSSEQ, scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in interface, construction, and project management on large-scale, complex projects across the full project lifecycle, from concept through handover.
•Experience managing integration of complex, multidisciplinary projects while coordinating contractors, consultants, and advisors in regulated environments, including NEC contracts.
•Ability to foster and lead a positive safety culture with hands-on experience in safety-critical construction environments.
•Strong capability engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels, influencing process improvements, and providing clear guidance for delivery and reporting.
•Track record ensuring delivery meets HSSEQ, scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
