Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and coordinate all civil and structural construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
  • •Supervise earthworks, grading, excavation, backfilling, reinforced concrete works, and structural steel erection (including welding, alignment, and bolting).
  • •Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements, and ITPs; verify quantities and materials for daily/weekly plans.
  • •Enforce site safety rules and ensure PTW compliance for excavation, hot works, lifting, and confined spaces; conduct toolbox talks and safety walkdowns.
  • •Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, ensure concrete production meets technical specs (slump test, cube samples, curing), monitor progress vs. plan, and prepare daily site reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
  • •10–15+ years of civil/structural construction experience in oil & gas or industrial EPC projects.
  • •Strong experience in foundations, concrete structures, buildings, and structural steel erection.
  • •Experience working in Iraq or Middle East remote sites (preferred).
  • •Familiarity with brownfield works and SIMOPS (beneficial).
