Job Summary

Oversee and coordinate civil and structural construction activities on-site in Basra, ensuring work complies with engineering drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. Supervise day-to-day execution across earthworks, reinforced concrete, and structural steel installation, manage PTW compliance, coordinate QA/QC inspections, and monitor progress against plans. Support technical issue resolution, reporting, and interface management across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and coordinate all civil and structural construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
•Supervise earthworks, grading, excavation, backfilling, reinforced concrete works, and structural steel erection (including welding, alignment, and bolting).
•Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements, and ITPs; verify quantities and materials for daily/weekly plans.
•Enforce site safety rules and ensure PTW compliance for excavation, hot works, lifting, and confined spaces; conduct toolbox talks and safety walkdowns.
•Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, ensure concrete production meets technical specs (slump test, cube samples, curing), monitor progress vs. plan, and prepare daily site reports.

•10–15+ years of civil/structural construction experience in oil & gas or industrial EPC projects.

•Familiarity with brownfield works and SIMOPS (beneficial).
