Job Summary

Lead the maintenance department and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of technical installations, machines, and infrastructure. Transition maintenance from reactive, downtime-driven work to a structured, proactive program with preventive (and eventually predictive) maintenance. Develop maintenance strategy, manage the maintenance team, coordinate with production, and oversee planning, budgets, spare parts, and improvement projects while reporting KPIs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end responsibility for the maintenance department and ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective management of installations, machines, and infrastructure.
•Develop and continuously improve maintenance strategy (preventive, corrective, and on the way to predictive).
•Organize and coordinate breakdowns, evolving from reactive to structural and planned maintenance.
•Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and procedures, including statutory inspections and work instructions.
•Lead and develop the maintenance team and manage planning, budgeting, spare parts, and maintenance resources; report KPIs and performance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor or master in a technical field (or equivalent through experience).
•Several years of relevant maintenance experience in a production environment with broad technical knowledge.
•Proven experience setting up, structuring, and optimizing maintenance processes.
•Experience with budget management, cost control, and technical improvement projects.
•Knowledge of maintenance and ERP systems; fluent in Dutch with technical knowledge of English.
