Job Summary

Build machine learning solutions for TikTok’s Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team to detect and mitigate inauthentic or abusive behaviors across products and platforms. Key Responsibilities

•Build machine learning solutions to respond to and mitigate business risks in TikTok products/platforms, including abusive accounts, fake engagements, spammy redirection, scraping, and fraud.
•Improve modeling infrastructures, labels, features, and algorithms to increase robustness, automation, and generalization and reduce operational load.
•Uplevel risk machine learning excellence focused on privacy/compliance, interpretability, risk perception, and analysis.
•Develop scalable, robust, intelligent, privacy-safe, secure, and product-friendly systems and solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
•Work on novel solutions to first-seen challenges as TikTok’s product and risk landscape evolves quickly.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree or above in computer science, statistics, or other relevant machine-learning-heavy major.
•Solid engineering skills with proficiency in at least two of: Linux, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Storm.
•Strong machine learning background with experience in modern ML theories and applications.
•Proficiency or publications in areas such as deep neural nets, transfer/multi-task learning, reinforcement learning, time series, or graph unsupervised learning.
•Ability to think critically and communicate results in a result-oriented, data-driven manner; high autonomy.
