Mechanic I

Repair and maintain industrial production and processing machinery and equipment while strictly adhering to Metals Recycling health, safety, and environmental standards. Perform inspections, diagnose mechanical faults, replace worn or damaged parts, and test repaired equipment to confirm manufacturer-spec performance. Reassemble systems, clean and lubricate components, record maintenance work, and read operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings. May assist throughout the yard and perform special projects as assigned.
