Job Summary

Support the company reliability strategy for a fleet by overseeing condition-based maintenance (including vibration analysis), reliability-centered maintenance, and planned maintenance systems such as dry docking. Maintain accurate maintenance databases, monitor compliance to schedules with evidence, analyze reliability and failure data for corrective actions, and lead FME(C)A and root-cause investigations. Prepare dry-docking specifications, manage CAPEX AFE and follow-ups, and ensure crew performance aligns with OVMSA and relevant ISO/ISM/ISPS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Update and maintain the maintenance database to ensure it is accurate and meets internal/external requirements (OVMSA, Class, Flag, etc.)
•Monitor planned maintenance schedules and maintain proper evidence of completed work to ensure compliance
•Analyze data to drive maintenance decisions, manage critical onboard stock, and recommend corrective actions based on reliability/failure data
•Manage the company condition-based maintenance program, including facilitating FME(C)A studies and performing root cause analysis investigations
•Prepare dry-docking specifications and manage CAPEX projects (AFE preparation and scope fulfillment), while directing crew performance and ensuring compliance with ISO/ISM/ISPS and OVMSA requirements

Key Requirements

•Unlimited STCW ’95 Chief Engineer’s license (Motor) for seagoing vessels
•Engineering degree/diploma in mechanical or electromechanical engineering
•CAT 1 vibration analysis/reliability qualification (CAT 2 preferred)
•Knowledge and working experience of marine planned maintenance systems (ABS Nautical Systems preferred)
•Reliability engineering experience in a marine environment (minimum 5 years) with condition-based maintenance techniques
