Key Responsibilities

  • •Enter accurate vehicle information (VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make/model/year, mileage, color, options, etc.) into the AS400 system using a handheld computer or headset-based data entry.
  • •Affix barcode/stock number stickers and place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry.
  • •Flag “no key” cars, direct transporters to the proper car drop zone, and provide sale identification windshield code to drivers through the registration/check-in area.
  • •Take digital images of each vehicle upon receipt and report transport damage as needed.
  • •Follow safety and health procedures and model safety behaviors; assist on sale days as needed and may work overtime based on business needs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and generally less than 2 years of experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • •Basic computer skills and ability to accurately input vehicle information into an AS400 computer system.
  • •Ability to lift 1-15 pounds and meet required physical demands (stand, walk, reach, and frequently stoop/kneel/crouch/bend/squat/climb).
  • •Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
