Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, and customer assets. Work through simple to complex installation scenarios, operating machinery for testing, integrating ignition systems, and troubleshooting issues by gathering and analyzing information. Travel to client sites and rental yards within the region, serve as a brand advocate while in the field, and occasionally work weekends/on-call as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities

•Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction/heavy equipment, and customer assets.
•Operate machinery when needed for testing during installation.
•Remove and replace ignition systems and integrate communication between the keypad and telematics systems.
•Complete installations across basic (power/ignition/ground) to complex scenarios using wiring harnesses and CAN network access.
•Identify and resolve problems, and travel to client sites/rental yards for installation cases; occasionally work outside business hours and weekends.

•High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
•Mechanical aptitude and strong hands-on tool experience.
•Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer) and ability to work as a Mobile Electronics Installer/Automotive Electronics Technician/12V Technician.
•Ability to travel within a 250 mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time.
•Must pass a background check and be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen for this safety-sensitive role.
