Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead production solution delivery by building production-grade systems, reference architectures, and custom applications including data ingestion and ML/AI model integration.
  • •Drive end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications for strategic customer transformations, working with engagement managers to scope technical delivery.
  • •Guide customers on architecture and design, bootstrap or implement customer projects, and support evaluation and adoption of Databricks.
  • •Own security- and scalability-focused architecture and design decisions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
  • •Cross-collaborate with Databricks technical teams, project managers, architects, and customer teams to ensure technical components are delivered and to resolve product/support issues.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
  • •Fluency coding in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • •Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP, with expertise in at least one cloud ecosystem.
  • •Deep distributed computing experience with PySpark and Apache Spark, including knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
  • •Experience with CI/CD for production deployments and designing performant end-to-end data architectures and applications integrating ML/AI models.
