Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure vehicles are repaired and painted to Manheim standards and customer/account requirements.
  • •Purchase and oversee maintenance of shop equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • •Maintain and develop staff through recruiting, training, educational opportunities, and performance appraisals.
  • •Prepare collision/lot/transport repair estimates and review work volumes and staffing levels to continuously monitor performance.
  • •Oversee quality control, enforce policies, resolve reconditioning goals, and partner with support teams and sublet vendors to run efficient operations.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree and 6+ years of related experience in reconditioning and/or lot operations (body shop or automotive service/repair), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •At least 1 year of experience in a management or lead role.
  • •Good communication and interaction skills.
  • •Good management and organizational skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
