Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct system design reviews in line with Baker Hughes engineering processes, covering scope, requirements, and specifications.
  • •Prepare IWOCS system documentation and establish technical requirement specification matrices for projects.
  • •Own and manage system engineering design files, including FMEA, HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and related analyses.
  • •Manage technical queries and interfaces between IWOCS and other Baker Hughes product lines.
  • •Provide rig survey input and lifecycle support, ensuring hazardous area equipment compliance with ATEX and IECEx, and supporting concept through manufacturing, testing, and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (other relevant experience may compensate).
  • •Experience with workover control systems or production HPU designs.
  • •Knowledge of oil and gas engineering standards such as API, ISO, NORSOK, IEC, and EN.
  • •Experience with hazardous area equipment (Ex) and ATEX/IECEx standards.
  • •Familiarity with AutoCAD and Teamcenter (or similar document management systems).
