Job Summary

Serve as a Networking Managed Services L2 engineer, ensuring client IT infrastructure and systems stay operational. Proactively monitor queues, resolve medium-complexity incidents and requests, and maintain tickets within SLAs. Handle second-line support and shift handovers, escalate when needed, and collaborate with automation teams to reduce routine work. Lead initial client escalations, support change management (including maintenance and audits), and contribute to trend analysis and disaster recovery as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure client IT infrastructure and systems remain operational by monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems.
•Review client requests and tickets, apply technical expertise to resolve them efficiently, and keep tickets updated with actions taken.
•Serve as second-line support for medium-complexity incidents/requests, handle shift handovers, and escalate tickets to Centers of Excellence (CoE) or other teams as needed.
•Collaborate with automation teams to optimize efforts and automate routine tasks while coaching Service Desk and L1 teams.
•Contribute to change management by logging change requests, executing approved maintenance activities, auditing tickets for quality, and supporting trend analysis and disaster recovery tasks as needed.

Key Requirements

•Hold SDN Global Certification – SDN L2 (Professional level certification).
•Manage network operations and incident management, including handling L1 escalations and resolving incidents within timelines.
•Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot networking and security devices (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers) and design/manage SDN solutions for medium to large-scale networks.
•Establish and enforce network security policies, monitor access, and ensure compliance with security standards.
•Prepare and maintain documentation such as High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD), including network schematics and configuration templates.
