Job Summary

Support the WHO Representative Office in Viet Nam by providing consolidated technical advice and regulatory analysis on health legislation. You will track the national legislative agenda, coordinate inputs across WHO teams, and produce reports and periodic updates on laws, decrees, circulars, and implementation options that advance UHC, health security, and healthier populations. Work is primarily remote with limited travel to Hanoi if required.

Key Responsibilities

•Work across WHO teams to consolidate technical advice on key legislative documents for development or revision.
•Provide analyses of regulatory and institutional frameworks for outcomes aligned with the Joint MOH-WHO Project Document.
•Track Vietnam’s legislative agenda and WHO contributions to health-related law development and revision.
•Produce periodic reports on the status of laws, decrees, circulars, and other government legal documents under development or revision.
•Deliver monthly progress reports with attached documents supporting deliverables 1–3.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 6,600 monthly

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree in relevant areas including health legislation, public administration, or public health.
•At least 5 years of experience in health legislation and health policy development, with expertise in health-related legislation in Viet Nam.
•Expert written and spoken English skills.
•Strong analytical and communication skills.
•Ability to write in English; knowledge of the health system in Viet Nam and health legislation processes is desirable.
