Job Summary

Lead a global engineering team focused on AI power and performance across AMD Embedded and Edge AI platforms. Own AI performance strategy, benchmarking methods, power efficiency analysis, and workload characterization, then drive optimization across models, runtimes, kernels, frameworks, and system software stacks. Partner with architecture, software, silicon, product, marketing, and customer teams to deliver customer-ready performance data, scalable automation/telemetry infrastructure, and roadmap influence for AI workloads across robotics, physical AI, automotive, industrial, and edge computing.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute AI power and performance strategy across AMD CPU, GPU, NPU, and heterogeneous computing platforms.
•Establish benchmarking methodologies, performance KPIs, competitive analysis frameworks, and workload characterization processes.
•Drive performance optimization across AI models, runtimes, kernels, frameworks, and system software stacks.
•Lead product and solution enablement by delivering customer-ready performance collateral, benchmarking reports, and tuning recommendations.
•Build and mentor a global engineering organization; develop automation and infrastructure for benchmarking, telemetry, profiling, analytics, and performance regression tracking.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in software engineering, system performance, Edge physical AI, embedded platforms, or related domains.
•Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex technical programs.
•Proven experience in Power and Power PnP activities Pre-Silicon and Post-Silicon & Correlation.
•Strong understanding of AI/ML frameworks, inference runtimes, and performance optimization techniques.
•Experience with heterogeneous computing architectures involving CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, and accelerators.
