Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver high-quality art lessons characterized by intellectual rigour, engagement, and creativity.
  • •Differentiate and adapt teaching to support and challenge pupils in line with school expectations.
  • •Create a purposeful classroom culture and maintain a stimulating, well-resourced learning environment.
  • •Implement formative and summative assessment practices and provide timely, constructive feedback with accurate records.
  • •Provide pastoral care and uphold the highest safeguarding and child-protection standards while communicating proactively with parents and supporting school life.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE or other teaching qualification that gives QTS.
  • •Minimum three years teaching experience with familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels.
  • •A clean criminal record check including International Child Protection Check (ICPC) (or appropriate police/other checks from relevant countries).
  • •A proven commitment to safeguarding children and understanding of safeguarding procedure.
  • •Preferably prior experience in leading independent schools.
