Job Summary

Plumbing technician responsible for preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance of plumbing pipework, pumps and related systems at Dubai Airports, performing readings, tests, and PMS/CMMS reporting within a safety-conscious, multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on plumbing pipework, equipment and systems to include pumps and associated components.
•Read, interpret and describe the functionality of pipework schematics and system layout drawings.
•Set up and use test equipment and interpret test results (manometer, water pressure test kit – dry/wet, digital multimeter) and update CMMS records.
•Raise PMS fault reports, daily utilization reports and CMMS work orders; track progress and close out tasks.
•Adhere to all general and technical safety requirements to ensure health, safety and welfare of self and others at work.

Key Requirements

•Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Pipe Fitting or Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Maintenance or equivalent (post high school)
•IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent
•Minimum 4 year experience within a Facility Management or similar environment as Plumbing & Pump Technician
•Ability to read interpret and describe the functionality of pipework schematics and system layout drawings
•Ability to correctly setup and use test equipment and interpret the test results (Manometer, Water pressure test kit – Dry, Water pressure test kit – Wet, Digital Multi meter) and complete PMS/CMMS work orders
