Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead preparation, compilation, and analysis of monthly operating and capital budget estimates for IT cost centres with accuracy and alignment to controls and policies.
  • •Prepare and interpret regular and ad hoc budget reporting, identifying trends, risks, variances, and opportunities for leadership decisions.
  • •Partner with IT leaders to strengthen processes including time entry, monthly budget estimates, work intake, project delivery governance, and related controls.
  • •Provide oversight of software and hardware asset processes such as entitlement tracking, renewal planning, reporting, risk identification, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • •Manage assigned IT procurement and vendor management activities including vendor reviews, purchase requisitions, renewal tracking, issue resolution, and follow-up actions.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of progressive experience in financial processes, budgeting, controls, cost management, or related business operations activities, preferably in a complex corporate or IT environment.
  • •Strong experience with month-end financial processes, budget reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics for leadership insights.
  • •Experience providing oversight of software asset processes, including entitlement tracking, renewal planning, reporting, risk identification, and cost optimization.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • •Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
