Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or manage the production of accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects/programmes.
  • •Promote estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend and support departmental objectives.
  • •Stay abreast of developments in your technical area of expertise.
  • •Support or lead bids for new work and develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • •Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages; provide direction to staff and act as a role model for less experienced staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven estimating leadership experience.
  • •Experience in defence sector estimating.
  • •Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with relevant experience.
  • •Previous experience working with estimating software packages.
  • •Desirable membership of RICS, CIOB, or A. Cost E, and experience on major programmes and projects.
