Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead maintenance teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians for predictive and preventative maintenance and machine repairs.
  • •Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures, and support maintenance systems, processes, and documentation.
  • •Schedule maintenance timely in collaboration with Production, and develop and implement maintenance systems (prevention/predictive maintenance, TPM, SOPs, safety).
  • •Monitor maintenance performance using KPIs (e.g., supplier/contractor performance, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness) and provide status reports.
  • •Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory; provide continuity by completing or delegating required tasks when key personnel are absent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience), required.
  • •Experience leading by training, coaching, mentoring less experienced staff, or by managing a process or project.
  • •Ability to lead troubleshooting and problem-solving for high-level process issues.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • •May be required to work long hours and weekends.
