Job Summary

Assist the Supervisor with daily coordination to keep refrigeration and plant equipment running safely and effectively on 2nd shift. Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and respond to emergency breakdowns. Troubleshoot equipment issues, support production goals with plant personnel, and help minimize downtime through safe, effective maintenance practices.

•Assist the Supervisor by communicating instructions effectively to team members and coordinating daily department responsibilities.
•Provide maintenance support to ensure safe and effective operation of equipment and the team.
•Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
•Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed and troubleshoot related equipment issues.
•Interact with plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals while minimizing equipment downtime.

Key Requirements

•Must have 1 year of industrial refrigeration experience, or an industrial refrigeration diploma / be enrolled in a technical school in lieu of experience.
•High school education and/or industrial maintenance training or equivalent experience.
•Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
•Ability to push, pull, or lift over 40 lbs. and climb ladders above 10 feet.
•Must be able to use SCBA equipment and pass a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical, with annual recertification.
