Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate extrusion equipment to produce thermoplastic blown (packaging) film and synchronize extrusion speed with pulling rolls.
  • •Adjust machine controls for vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings, and temperature based on production requirements.
  • •Stage proper resins, colorant, and materials for the extruder and ensure correct reel width, gauge, length, tension, and weight.
  • •Inspect and measure product for defects and conformance using dimension testers, micrometers, calipers, and gauges; perform equipment adjustments/modifications as needed.
  • •Reel finished product into rolls, complete packaging/labeling and production paperwork, and move pallets to holding areas using material-handling equipment.
