Key Responsibilities

•Technical Stewardship: Act as the primary technical advisor during briefing and design phases to ensure performance running concepts align with global manufacturing capabilities.
•Strategic Synchronization: Facilitate technical alignment between Zurich-based Design/Product Management and Asia-based execution teams, preserving the category's technical “soul.”
•Process Enablement: Identify bottlenecks and advise on best practices to improve category-wide efficiency.
•Advisory & Escalation Support: Serve as the senior technical point of contact for Asia-based development partners, guiding on complex technical hurdles and high-level escalations.
•Performance Quality Assurance: Support validation of fit, feel, and durability standards across factory partners.

Key Requirements

•8–12 years in footwear development, with a background rooted in high-performance running and technical complexity.
•Proven ability to influence product direction and technical outcomes through partnership and advisory, rather than direct line management or project ownership.
•Systemic thinking about how tooling, materials, and construction impact the global supply chain and product lifecycle.
•Strong ability to navigate HQ and regional dynamics, acting as a technical translator between creative vision and factory execution.
•Excellent consultative communication and cross-functional relationship-building to guide stakeholders toward technically sound decisions.
