Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the delivery of project controls across projects, programmes and portfolios, ensuring governance, quality data, and timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • •Provide SME input in at least one discipline of Project Controls (Planning, Analytics and Reporting, Risk, Cost Control, Estimating, Change, Governance and Strategy) and advise on best-fit solutions for client requirements.
  • •Oversee use of project controls systems (e.g., Primavera, Project Online, Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject, SAP, @Risk, Pertmaster, ARM, Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, CEMAR, Conject) and select appropriate tools per project.
  • •Conduct independent reviews and quality assurance to ensure data integrity and compliance within commissions.
  • •Communicate project status, impacts, and recovery/mitigation options to stakeholders and drive a can-do culture across the commission.

  • •Collaborate and lead a project controls team on major commissions or projects, ensuring scope is delivered and resources coordinated effectively.
  • •Evidence experience implementing bespoke Project Controls Management strategies and processes on projects, programmes and portfolios.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of best practice project controls principles; translate client life cycle or procurement strategy into Project Controls Execution strategy.
  • •Define what success looks like and establish governance to ensure it is achieved.
  • •Be a Subject Matter Expert in at least one Project Controls discipline (Planning, Analytics and Reporting, Risk, Cost Control, Estimating, Change, Governance and Strategy).
