Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day oversight of the team by delegating and prioritizing task execution, resolving roadblocks, and ensuring efficient delivery of Unix and Linux services.
  • •Own and develop the technical strategy and service catalog in partnership with federal and program leadership, translating customer demands into execution plans.
  • •Coordinate with Project Managers/Scrum Masters on transparent project timelines, execution, resource requirements, risk management, and status reporting.
  • •Drive modernization and continuous improvement by standardizing and automating delivery practices, and incorporating innovation to add new services and ways of working.
  • •Oversee incidents and personnel management, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, training, mentoring, and after-action reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA and 6+ years of IT-related experience, or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience overseeing a portfolio of technology services and leading a technical team’s day-to-day execution for operations, maintenance, service delivery, and projects.
  • •People management experience including recruiting, hiring, performance management, professional development, training, and mentoring.
  • •Experience leading technical projects and initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • •Hands-on infrastructure expertise across Unix/Linux and supporting services such as configuration management, with experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex enterprise environments.
