Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the assigned branch office to ensure awareness of home loan products.
  • •Handle and follow up on referrals, and develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts).
  • •Interview loan applicants and make credit decisions based on analysis of financial data.
  • •Utilize communication and access daily rates, credit reports, and DU responses, then transmit information to the processor.
  • •Collect applicant documentation, deliver the loan package to the processor in a timely manner, and maintain high customer service levels while completing required compliance training.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year college degree equivalent plus 4 years related experience and/or training.
  • •Ability to read, analyze, and understand business/company articles and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • •Ability to calculate figures and amounts (e.g., interest, commissions, percentages) and apply fractions/ratios in practical situations.
  • •Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization and interpret instructions from written, oral, or diagram formats.
  • •Required S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
