Key Responsibilities

•Work with the assigned branch office to ensure awareness of home loan products.
•Handle and follow up on referrals, and develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts).
•Interview loan applicants and make credit decisions based on analysis of financial data.
•Utilize communication and access daily rates, credit reports, and DU responses, then transmit information to the processor.
•Collect applicant documentation, deliver the loan package to the processor in a timely manner, and maintain high customer service levels while completing required compliance training.

Key Requirements

•Four-year college degree equivalent plus 4 years related experience and/or training.
•Ability to read, analyze, and understand business/company articles and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
•Ability to calculate figures and amounts (e.g., interest, commissions, percentages) and apply fractions/ratios in practical situations.
•Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization and interpret instructions from written, oral, or diagram formats.
•Required S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
