Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • •Monitor contractor workmanship and verify execution against approved Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • •Inspect civil infrastructure elements (roads, pavements, kerbs, footpaths, cycle tracks, earthworks, utility trenches, drainage, chambers, manholes, retaining structures, and public realm works).
  • •Witness field and laboratory testing (earthworks, concrete, asphalt, backfilling, compaction), validate materials, and maintain inspection/testing records.
  • •Prepare daily inspection reports, support corrective actions, and participate in snagging, commissioning inspections, and handover documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related engineering discipline).
  • •Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Civil Inspector on major infrastructure projects.
  • •Proven experience inspecting roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks, public realm, and civil infrastructure works.
  • •Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and international construction standards.
  • •Ability to interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications; experience with testing and commissioning and handover is an advantage.
