Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the MBSE product platform for high-fidelity system models for motor control and power electronics applications.
  • •Design and develop power electronic software and specifications, including motor control MIL simulation and test in MATLAB for relevant motor control algorithms and battery systems.
  • •Generate application-level embedded code from model-based design and support MATLAB unit testing and coverage testing.
  • •Develop and lead HIL test system development using Speedgoat, co-working with motor and hardware engineers to run digital power HIL twins and perform more efficient hardware-in-loop testing.
  • •Build verification and validation environments (HIL/SIL/MIL) and establish software verification procedures, including unit and integration testing, while supporting documentation and requirement translation.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in research/product development of embedded firmware.
  • •Master’s degree in electrical or automation engineering (PhD a nice to have).
  • •Expertise in Ansys Twin Builder+ and Simulink for high-fidelity motor control system modeling and nonlinear analysis of complex dynamic assemblies.
  • •Experience building and debugging embedded microcontrollers using C/C++, including code generation and BSP/HAL integration.
  • •Experience with motor control closed-loop feedback systems (e.g., BLDC/PMSM) and FOC or Trapezoidal control, including sensored/sensorless approaches.
